Alberta's Men and Women of Country Music-- May 9, 2009 1-9pm at the Hoadley Hall on the corner of Highway 20 and secondary highway 611. Al Ochar will be receiving the AMOCM Lifetime Achievement Award and Pat Hatherly will be receiving the AWOCM Lifetime Achievement award for 2008. Some of the other performers will be Sean Senago, Jessica St. Dennis, Matt Richardson, Shirley Field, Jesse Jo Charles, Jackson McKenzie, Alex Dion, Lesley Schatz, Terry Knutson (hope i spelled that right), Joanne Myrol. Admission will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. A concession will be available for a light lunch and a beef on a bun supper. These ladies make great pies for coffee break or any time. Or you can pick up tickets at Stationary Stories and Sounds in Rimbey, Winfield Feeds, Big West Farm and Ranch in Drayton Valley, Thanes Music in Wetaskiwin and from Hoadley Community Association members.
